Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payments, and PayPal payments

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct t it.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order.

Shipping And Handling

Prices in this store include the cost of delivery by courier, except in the case of deliveries to 'Highlands & Islands* ' where an additional charge is made.

We do not despatch to addresses outside of the UK.

Delivery Schedule

We will normally send your order to you in one working day.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

All animal feedstuffs are supplied VAT-free.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card details are maintained in an approved, secure system. This means that we do not have access to your card details. We are able to process charges and refunds where appropriate through the secure system without needing to have your card details.

Returns Policy

Orders placed are generally despatched within 48 hours of ordering, Our aim is to get the goods to you in the best possible condition.

If the goods received are in any way defective please let us know, using the Contact Us page of our website. Please do not return goods without first contacting Hay & Straw giving details of the problem.
